A:AnswerYes. You do not need the app to use Google Classroom. This runs Microsoft Edge as the default instead of Google but you can still sign into Google. Just go to Google classroom in the web address bar. Or you can set Google.com as the home page through Microsoft Edge so Google automatically pops up every time. If you sign into the school email which would be a google account then you can click the dots in the top right corner and Google classroom will be linked there with Gmail, photos, calendar and etc. The point is, there are many ways you can easily and quickly get to it depending upon the way you choose.
A:AnswerSafe Mode. It means you can only download apps in the Microsoft store. You can still access other things.. for example my son need Google classroom. It is not in the Microsoft store but we can still access it by typing it in the web address bar. If there is an app you want to access and you aren't able to access it through Microsoft store or the web address bar then there is a way to take it out of S mode. It is not recommended and from my understanding if you do so then you cannot change it back. S mode helps protect the device so to speak. I leave mine in S Mode so I don't have to worry about my son downloading apps that may contain viruses and such. Just preference. I will say this streambook is great especially for kids, homeschooling, basic task and etc.
A:AnswerBecause this is a "Stream" laptop, it can only install and run apps from the Microsoft store. Unfortunately, it looks like Minecraft isn't available.
A:AnswerAt least in theory it's doable, if you first convert the Windows 10S version to Windows 10 home. However, the academic version of windows 10 requires at least 20 gigabytes of storage, which is nearly a third of the space the computer has. Microsoft's support team should be able to give you a more definitive answer.
A:AnswerI bought this laptop just type papers and not for gaming. i would get a laptop that is suitable for gaming so it won’t crash. Also, consulted my sons who do coding and play games online they said no it’s not suitable.
