• Plenty of room to do that and then some. When I initially got my computer and took a look inside, I thought they had ripped me off, because literally the computer box looks completely empty inside! So you can pull and replace, or add as many components to your hearts content! Plenty of room for upgrades!!

• It allows for some customization (i.e. an external disk drive), but for some things it wouldn't be the best idea in the world to try. From my up-close and personal guess, I would say you can probably customize an SSD.
