Gaming + business To start off this review I’ve only owned three computers in total before buying the iBUYPOWER gaming computer.; two were general-use computers good for browsing the net and playing some games, while the third was the lowest-tier Alienware Alpha with an Intel i3 CPU and 4 GB of RAM. The iBUYPOWER - Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 16GB Memory - 120GB Solid State Drive + 1TB Hard Drive - Black/Red, model BB920 compared to the Alienware is practically an apple to oranges comparison; in that both are gaming computers BUT, the iBUYPOWER blows the Alienware out the water! Of course, this is due to the iBUYPOWER having a newish/ most recent graphics card that AMD can offer which is the RX 480, more RAM and an SSD + HDD for storage. As of this review I have only managed to try out Runescape and my god is the FPS amazing, essentially staying at over 100+. Now in terms of plug and play, yes it was very simple to do. The design of the computer is quite nice and seems to be built durably. It does like other gaming computers have lights on it, I personally don’t mind them but for some it might. The keyboard, mouse and computer all have some sort of light on them. For example, for the computer, in the front it has red and of course inside the case more lights. Overall, as of this review I would recommend it to others. It is quite a good computer for the price especially if you don’t want to build one like myself or just in general is new to computer gaming.

I upgraded my 7 year old desktop with this pc- it checked all the boxes for me - SSD, graphics card, usb 3.0, ample power supply. I was surprised to find out how quiet this thing runs - Can barely be heard if you try. My wife sleeps right next to my computer desk and she can't even tell I have it on. i also picked up a 4k samsung tv w/ HDR to use as the monitor and this is an amazing set up - pc doesn't have any problem driving 4k - even w/ games. I'm really happy I went this route vs buying something a few hundred cheaper and then trying to upgrade graphics card/power supply/SSD myself - great purchase!

This computer is super fast. I like it! So cool~~~ But the remote control battery gone. They never reimburse me!

Love the Glass Sides. When I first turned it on I think I was more fascinated with the computer than playing video games LOL!!!!!

I purchased this for xmas, so far I am very satisfied with this computer. It runs mostly every game you throw at it with 60fps+ on high. The only reason why I didn't give this five stars is because it came with a defected remote, which I sent back to the IBUYPOWER website, and they sent me a new one. So far I've been streaming with no isses. I RECCOMEND THIS TO EVERYONE THAT WANTS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK PC!

Great PC for the price, if I was gonna build one on the site it would probably cost twice as much, I highly recommend those who are on a mid-range budget, but still need something that can game/stream at the same time. -Carson M

We've been looked for a gaming desktop and so far this has been great! It's super fast, very quiet and very cool looking. The setup was fairly easy. The remote control for the lighting wasn't working at first, but I quickly found the updated driver on the ibuypower website. So far so good!

This machine is great. Please note it does not have expansion like some other towers, or a wireless card. Else, performance is great, and the graphics card is great for everyone but the needy gamers! Only downside is the small ssd. Get 250 or above if you can. It is noticeably faster if you just run your apps from the ssd. I will be upgrading to a 500 gb ssd.

Pros: - This PC is lightning fast. Boot time is about 12 secs from the moment the Power Button is pressed. - It was extremely well packaged and looks really cool - It was unclear initially what kind of RX 480 video card is in it. Seems to be a Gigabyte one. Runs very well so far. - Connected the PC to Oculus Rift VR. Even though I'm running all apps/games from the Hard drive and not the SSD, they load extremely fast. I am also very impressed by how well the 4GB RX 480 handles VR. Was planning on getting a 1070 asap, but there's no need at this point. Cons: - I had read reviews that the Motherboard is small, but didn't expect it to be that small. Not much room for expansion, even though you probably won't need to expand much with that PC. - There are only 2 memory slots, each with 8GB on it. If you're to expand to 32, you'll have to get brand new memory sticks. Was a little disappointing, but to be honest I think 16GB will be more than sufficient for the next 1 year or two at least. - I'm also having some problems with the little remote that allows you to change the lights. Just contacted support and we'll see how well they handle this. Fingers crossed quickly. I gave this PC 5 Starts for now because it is very fast and beautifully designed. I'll update my review if anything is to go wrong.

I bought this pc not wanting to run into any problems with games not playing or lagging but the pc performs to a very high standard Im not afraid of playing any game on this pc

It has been six years since my last computer upgrade, so what has changed? 1. Quiet, quiet, quiet, even with an internal HDD! Computer makers used to charge extra for "soundproofing," now it is not needed. 2. No internal DVD drive. Saves on weight, cost, noise, inside wiring clutter. Since I do not use a physical disk very often, and USB DVD drives are available for $25 or less, I do not miss this component. (Note you will need a USB DVD drive if you ever need to reinstall Windows.) 3. Mini-motherboard with no open expansion slots. This took me off guard at first, but I don't need an expansion slot and do not anticipate I ever will. I use the Turtle Beach Micro II adapter to use a USB 2.0 port to offload digital audio, producing as high-quality sound as any sound card, and a $30 USB 2.0 dongle to connect to my wireless network. (Note: there is capacity to connect 4 more USB 2.0 ports directly to the motherboard, and 2 eSATA connections directly to the motherboard.) This system should be all I need for the foreseeable future. Note that I went with a Radeon system because I have a Freesync capable monitor.

It works great, and the speed is incredible for gaming and school work. I really recommend it to anyone.

Computer is easy to set up and looks great. So far it has been able to run everything I've thrown at it and I'm extremely satisfied with the product. If you're a beginner to pc gaming this is a great computer to get you started. Will definitely recommend this computer.

I bought this computer a little while ago, and it is running so well! I am not a major gammer, but it allows me to run skyrim at max settings while running other programs in the background! I also love the glass sides that let me see in! Super neat!

I was very excited about this machine. Not so much because it glows (which is pretty cool) but because it had a solid state hard drive. Since my current machine bit the dust I was a little too hasty in replacing it. This has no disk drive - so I can't reinstall anything I have on CD/DVD. This won't be an issue for future purchases, since many things are simply downloaded now, but that doesn't restore previous purchases on this new machine. I had some heating issues with this box as well. In the open air it's fine, but it's also bulky and takes up a lot of room. Being unable to tuck it under my desk is a bit of a pain.

I trade stocks with this computer and I have 4 monitors running at the moment and many programs running at all times and it runs perfectly. 90% of games run perfectly at max graphics. It is all around a great computer.

Bought this for my sons xmas pres he loves it. He plays games night & day. The memory is outragioys and the graphics are out fo this world. The ambient light option is a really cool extra feature.

Purchased it in store. Great customer service by the way. Great product. Only issue is the led remote. It's hit and miss when trying to select a new color. Works perfectly with the tempted glass off though. Like the fact it comes with a very nice keyboard and mouse. Motherboard is a H110M Pro-VD Plus

Got this for my son as a gaming computer for Christmas. Easy to set up, although we did end up having to buy a special cable for the monitor. Seems super fast and he's very happy with it!
