A:AnswerYou can transport it on it's side, but then you need to let it set upright for a time before plugging it in. I've heard the length of time to be anywhere from 24 hrs to 2 hrs, so I would get with somebody who works with compressors to get a real rest time before plug-in.

Generally 14/3 would work for a 15A or 12/3 for 20A.
A:AnswerMore than likely it is the Refrigerant. since all that is left in the freezer is sheet metal, copper tubing, plastic, and foam insulation. Unless you cut into the freezers copper tubing or decide to eat the plastic or foam, the Prop 65 Warning is there just as a disclaimer and CYA.
