“Can we transport the freezer on its side so it will fit in our car?”

• You can transport it on it's side, but then you need to let it set upright for a time before plugging it in. I've heard the length of time to be anywhere from 24 hrs to 2 hrs, so I would get with somebody who works with compressors to get a real rest time before plug-in.

• You can, if you have it laying on its side for an hour make sure it sits upright for at least an hour before you plug it in and turn it on. Same concept until 24 hrs and then if over 24 hours on side leave sitting upright for at least 24 hrs.
