How to check if your USB is POWERED: Plug your cell phone in it. If it charges it, then it is powered. If it does not, then it ain't!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the speakers are just to plug in externally to add more speaker power. As long as your device has an audio jack you can plug these in. they are not Bluetooth , you are limited to being plugged in with a cord
