• A:Answer The speakers were very clear. I could hear my music beautifully I just could not hear it loud enough in the next room. When I sat at my computer with the speakers they were fantastic.

Q: QuestionCan these speakers be connected to an HDTV?I'd like to use these speakers with a Vizio television. When I use the audio R/L jacks with an adapter, I can't mute the volume? Is there a better way to hookup the speakers to a TV?

Q: QuestionHelp! Since I wear hearing aids, I love using my 2 Insignia speakers. HOWEVER, when we Skype with grandchildren, if I plug them in, they cannot hear OUR voices. (no sound) Any ideas??? Thanks.

• A:Answer Your insignia speakers are not a microphone. You can only use them to hear your grandchildrens voices. For them to hear you, you must speak into a microphone of some sort. Sometimes computers have them built in, sometimes they don't. Hope that helps! Cheers!

Q: QuestionUSB compability?My computer is an H-P HDMI, Windows Vista, 2008 product. It has two USB ports on the side of the monitor which I can use for speakers. All other ports and plug-ins are already occupied, so I'm looking for speakers that can use USB.

Q: QuestionI added the speakers to my Windows 10 system. I get sound out of the right speaker, but nothing out of the second speaker. I do the tests, and sounds come from the one speaker and not the other. How do I get the left speaker to produce sound?

• A:Answer Check the connection at the computer. Try moving the headphone jack around, plugging and unplugging while something is playing. If no improvement, replace the speakers. Also check your computer's audio settings. Some computers allow you to adjust the speakers separately.

• A:Answer The speaker is powered and has volume adjustment, so I'd say yes. I did a test to see how my headset compared to the speakers when I plugged the headset into the available Jack on the front of one of the speakers and it was much louder. I had to turn it down quickly. As far as your laptop volume, you may want to click on the speaker icon on the bottom, right of your screen and see what your volume level is set at. Something else to check is to right-click on that same speaker icon and click on "Open volume mixer". Check to see what the volume levels are set at for your playback devices.

• A:Answer On the back of your E310 are 3 jack inputs. Blue, Green, and Pink. I believe the Green is the stereo output for external speakers, and that is the jack you would use for these speakers. Since these speakers are powered (12 v DC), they will work with your computer. Don't expect alot, though! More for hearing news stories than listening to music, but at low levels, music sounds fine.
