QuestionSpeakers for Inspirion DesktopI just purchased a Dell Inspirion 3646 desktop. Can someone recommend speakers that I could use. I thought the speakers were already installed or are they just installed in laptops.

- Answer Desktops typically don't have speakers. You should be able to plug basically any computer speakers into your computer. I like the Bose speakers but they are a little pricey.

- Answer These speakers do not require any special sound drivers since they do not plug in to your computer through USB. If you are no longer getting sound from your computer I would suggest searching for sound drivers from the computer manufacturer's website.

- Answer Yes, these speakers have a headphone out connection on them. There is no need to disconnect the speakers to use your headphones.

- Answer I would say anywhere from 5-7 watts. It's sad that they don't list wattage and Db measuring on packaging anymore. I always used to use these numbers to make a purchase. Now I find I have to buy, return, buy, return until I get exactly what I'm looking for. If only they would just put the info on the package or allow for in-store testing these days! Shopping isn't what it used to be.
