- Answer Parts and Labor has a 1 year warranty, according to Best Buy. In Insignia manual, it just says 1 year limited warranty with no mentioning of specific parts or labor.

QuestionWhat is the weight capacity of the door bins?

- Answer No idea but each door bin can easily handle 10-12 lbs. even distribution from one end to another on my first insignia that I use as a freezer, The suction on the door are very strong but the bin are pretty narrow in depth, I stacked mine on top of one another (like slanted book shelves) with no issues.

QuestionWhat is the weight capacity, or maximum amount of weight, the shelves in the Insignia 21 cubic foot upright freezer are recommend to hold?

- Answer Depends on the model. On the older 21 Cu, Ft model NS-UZ21XWH7, the freezer have grid shelves and I can put 50 lbs. even distribution across each shelf with the help of boxes (the shelves itself can bend). The newer model, NS-UZ21WHO-C have hard plastic like glass shelves so I do not recommend putting too heavy items, especially in the middle of each shelf. Max I do 30 lbs./ shelf, with the heavier items on both sides and lighter items on the middle. I have an older model I use as a freezer and a newer model as a fridge.

QuestionHow must weight can the shelves hold?

- Answer Can't give you an exact rating but I have one as fridge and one as freezer. Freezer has probably 45lbs of beef on a single shelf without any bending. Fridge has two cases of beverages on a single shelf and it's fine.

- Answer The whole back is covered except for across the bottom one foot or so where the compressor is. Coils are built into the sides so a little clearance is needed on the sides for air circulation. Ours works great.

- Answer Absolutely, my placement of unit is similar. Above 120 more then a day or two decrease your settings. Between 1 to 2 above zero to keep your from working hard in ambient temperatures right here above 120 degrees.

QuestionThis freezer has recently started to experience an issue in which the items on the top shelf will not stay frozen. We have to put it in deep freeze then it last about 2 weeks and we have to do it again. The remainder of the freezer keeps food frozen.

QuestionI want to take the door off and fit it through a 30" doorway. into my landry room. to use as a guest frig. With door off... will it fit through 30" doorway without dooor attached.

- Answer Yes, it will fit through a 30 inch doorway with about an inch to spare. you should be able to leave the door on, but leave the handle off, will have to tilt a bit to get in but should fit going in sideways.
