A:AnswerIF you have dish as an app on your mobile, you would be able to download app to Fire Television and apply your login to app on TV and play dish from there using the remote without a problem.
A:AnswerYou can connect your DirecTV box to the TV using an HDMI cord.
Use the DirecTV remote to control the DirecTV box.
User the Fire TV Edition remote to control the TV.

A:AnswerI guess it depends on what you need for audio.. as HDMI is bidirectional high def sound, this tv also has an optical out, it does not have RCA (the Red and white round connectors) but the others do work as audio out.. not sure that helps or not, but both the HDMI and the Optical can be used for audio out.
