Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it's just plugged in and not hardwired. Call the company for a replacement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can remove the remote from the plug behind the product and possibly call the manufacturer. I would suggest looking up the company that makes them and seeing if they have a number to call for a replacement. . On fixing the remote yourself you could possibly bring it to someone who may specialize in fixing either wiring or if a button is jammed. I would imagine when removing the remote cover it would have a motherboard probably about the size or somewhat comparable to a Gameboy. Since it is illuminated with lights a small light that shows the images and would be like a digital alarm clock. . Depending on what the issue is there would be wires that attach to the motherboard and when the button is pushed it initializes the function. These wires are probably melded to the motherboard and there are small parts that work like somewhat of a Turing machine. With the power source connected it powers the remote and there might be some form of binary programming that goes with to help the motherboard sort through options of functionality when buttons are pushed. It's formed in a set sequence stored in random access memory or ram for short. . . A specialist would be more suited to fix this sort of issue it isn't like swapping a car computer switch and even easier to replace if this is an option. You can find more about computer science at "Crash course" computer science and it can give you some insight for whichever the issue may be on how computer processes work and tech works. . Hope this gives a bit of insight, good luck!
