QuestionWould this be comfortable to sit in when it’s not on? Could it replace a normal recliner or other chair?

- Answer It's not horrible but definitely not my preferred chair to sit in when not massaging. The high sides make it difficult to reach drinks and remotes and sometimes the mechanism can be felt depending where it ends in the cycles. It's an excellent massage chair for the price and is easily my favorite new product. Buy it for that and you'll be happy.

- Answer Our delivery team would not take ours up or down any flights of stairs. They delivered just inside the front door. I am fairly certain that the delivery email we got said they would do up to 2 flights of stairs, but that was not the case. They did take the big box it came in.

QuestionUnder the specs the weight limit is listed as 220# that seems to be pretty low., the chair itself weighs 188#. Other chairs i am considering run about 350#. Please verify the limits for this one. Thanks

- Answer It's on sale today (3/1/21) under the Best Buy Deal of the Day section for $999. I don't see a extended warranty or protection plan option. Others have mentioned they would like to see an additional plan for peace of mind.

QuestionDoes this chair use an S or L track? Of course, all of these chairs use S tracks, but L track is better with the lower massaging of the upper legs.

- Answer This chair uses an SL track, the track is 128cm L track but with S curve, it massages from neck to buttocks.

- Answer So I am 6’2” and it reaches my neck, but I would say someone 6’4” plus may have issues reaching their neck. It gets my neck right up to the base of my cranium without me having to slouch in the chair. Hope this helps!!

- Answer Our chair is out of warranty and getting help or access to manuals has been terrible. The company sends you to an outside service agency. Parts and options are very hard to come by. The chair is an accident waiting to happen. Had I known the limited options for help and service I would not have purchased the chair.

- Answer I’m sure you’ve probably tried this, but I saw that error code once and just unplugged the chair for a few minutes and when I plugged it back in, the error code was gone. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. Good luck

QuestionThe chair stopped massaging from the waist up. It’s stuck, only massaging the waist and legs. It does massage the arms, just not the back or neck. Remote has code error E101. Tried a new remote but still had the same problem and code.

- Answer Don’t expect any help from Insignia, maker of defective products— or Best Buy— even if you pay the $200 rip-off they call “Total Tech.” This chair is junk but Best Buy’s gonna keep yer money. never been treated anything like this by any company, ever. I’m extremely laid back but I don’t want anymore good people throwing away their hard earned money on this 200 lb paperweight.

- Answer Ask the driver when they call you within 24 hours of delivery. The legal fine print says it can be delivered up 3 floors, to a room as long as they have a path and the doorways are big enough for the huge box to fit in. It fit in my outside door and they carried it upstairs, but the box wouldn’t fit in the room I needed it in so I had to open the box and get the chair out myself, and pushed it into the room it needed to be in. It was tight fitting but I made it.
