Can you use a extension cord? null

I don't know for certain, but I would bet you could use an appliance one that is thick and durable for short distances of like 6 ft.

If the remote breaks there is no replacement remote available. The part number for the remote should be P-310100646-8... NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Good luck if you're outside the warranty like I am. RUN AWAY.
