No clue. Did you read the owners manual it has to be in the upright position before you turn it on and it must be in the upright position before you turn it off to move it back to the upright position you hold in on the power key until it moves all the way back up into the air preposition and then leave don’t touch it for about 30 seconds then you hit the power button once the chair should automatically recline in about 30 seconds I will start and you can decide what setting do you want and go from there
