A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question. If the freezer is getting cold but the refrigerator section is not, this usually indicates a blocked airflow vent or the temperature dial set too low in the fridge compartment. Please ensure the vents aren’t covered and the fridge control is set to a colder setting. If the issue continues after 24 hours of proper setup, contact us at 877 467 4289 or [email protected] so we can look into this further and help you with the next steps. Poojitha | Insignia

A:AnswerI haven't purchased but i was wondering the same. I have been reading through all the questions & someone else said that it is NOT FROST FREE. You have to defrost this one. The person also mentioned it comes with a little scraper. My husband uses a hairdryer on our current mini fridge/freezer & it works!
Hope this helped. :)
A:AnswerHonestly, i have mine turned down to a 3. It does a REALLY good job at keeping things cold. If it’s out in a garage it needs to be higher. I’ve had mine for a year and it’s wonderful

A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry! The Insignia™ 3.1 Cu. Ft. Retro Mini Fridge with Top Freezer requires manual defrosting, which means you’ll need to periodically remove frost buildup yourself. To defrost it, unplug the fridge, remove all food, and leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels or a shallow pan underneath to catch the water, and once the ice has melted, wipe down the interior before plugging it back in. The frequency of defrosting depends on usage and humidity, but generally, you should defrost it whenever frost buildup reaches about 1/4 inch thick, which typically occurs every few weeks to a couple of months. Regular defrosting helps maintain efficiency and keeps the freezer working properly. Keith | Insignia Support
