A: I did I just let it sit upright for 36 hours before plugging it in.
Q: Does this fridge fit a bottle of wine?
A: YES!!! It holds standard 750 ml wine bottles as in the picture, half gallon milk bottles and presumably 2 liter sodas, but I didn't test the soda.
