Hello Best Buy customer bobbiec222! Thank you for asking this question as the answer(s) provided may help others as well! To address your question, I went on the website Insigniaproducts.com. I entered this Insignia 4-device remote control's model number (i.e., NS-RMT415) into the product search bar toward the top of the screen. I then scrolled down to Support & Download and clicked on that. I chose the language of my choice so that I could visually access this remote control device's "Compatibility Insert." I have provided a photo image below of that part of the DVD compatibility chart which pertains to your Insignia brand of Blu-Ray player. It is only one (1) page; however, anyone would be impressed to see just how many brands and types of products that this 4-device remote can be used to operate. In answer to your question, your "specific" Insignia brand DVD Blu-Ray player "model number" is not mentioned--nor are other DVD Blu-Ray player models numbers listed in the compatibility list!--just "brand names." You can also click onto this Insignia 4-device's "Quick Setup Guide" for further review so that your Blu-Ray player will recognize the commands of this Insignia 4-device Universal remote. Please also consider phoning Insignia Tech Support at 1-877-467-4289 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. CT. I'm sure that they would walk you through set up of this remote control with your specific model of Insignia Blu-Ray player. If you are like me, you will find them to be most helpful and knowledgeable about their products and they will patiently address your needs and they will be there for you long after the purchase date of your product to answer questions--at least, these have been my personal experiences.
