• Yes you can. If you really wanted to, you could have four external hard drives plugged into it.

• Yes, it has four ports. I have a data stick, external hard drive, mouse, and a port to charge my phone. Never had a problem.

• 2 external hard drives may be added to a single USB port using a 3.0 hub connector. An in depth explanation can be found on the xbox one help menu from the "xbox home" page.Two external hard drives is the limit and both must be compatible with console.
