I have the same device, w/ same issues of blue light ON all times, even in sleep mode, or hibernate, and the cable FROM the device to my USB3 is faulty, in that it frequently fall OUT of the socket. I wired it to the power cord for support to remedy tht issue, but NOW it will not allow connection of ANY of the four HDD to show on resources of the rig. Alienware Junker, Aurora R-3, 16G ram, Intel quat @ 3.4mhz, and W7/64 (curse them) and no clue how to make it better. NOTE it worked fine first week or so, but then something made the rig go insane, wiped out two INTERIOR HD, one showing up as a FILE on the main C:\. First time in FIFTY years of working on computers that I have seen this happen. TESTED all three internal drives, tested USB3 ports and just thought I should replace the connecting cable, but I do NOT SEE how it could go bad just laying there. Noted I had to re-insert it several times. NOTE: I attempted to get GEEK ASSISTANCE and have three times being on hold for half hour each, EACH, I quit. Re-installed W-7/64 Pro w/ factory disks for the fourth time this year. I suggest personnel dept review your Geek emplyee roster and get some help with Admin. It sucks. And I never did hear from the store that took my previous Alien-ware, claiming it was "FRIED". which it was NOT, just needed a CMOS battery. Have LITTLE confidence in BBuy Techs. Have three NETGEAR dual channel routers, et al and all have worked GREAT. GOt this powered four port USB3 device to take the LOAD off of the computer PSupply.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you have a faulty USB device I noticed my blue light stays on all the time even when I have my laptop is closed in sleep mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only thing I can think of is to make sure that the USB port on the PC is USB3.0. I am not familiar with Windows Laptops, but you might also check the USB driver status and make sure it is up to date. Also, try the hub on a different PC and see if it works there or not. Good luck!
