Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.What do you mean when you say handle? I have used these freezers in both cold climates and hot climates. For obvious reasons, cold areas wont ruin or work down the components and you'll still have everything frozen inside. Hot temperatures vary. I've had these freezers in the sun and that's no good. The ice cream on the bottom was fine, but products closer to the top near the lid sometimes get warm. In a hot garage, I the freezer itself will work just fine. But same thing can happen with items closer to the top inside. Hope that helps with your question.
