A:AnswerDryers do not come with cords anymore. I don’t know of any brand that does. You must buy them separately. Being able to plug them in straight out of the box is a thing of the past. When you replace your dryer for a new one, keep your cord.
A:AnswerHello, 1) power cord was not included. Make sure you buy one per your wall outlet "style" (it varies in old / newer houses - take photo if in doubt). Manual has instructions to properly wire it to back of machine (check youtube for tutorials). 2) About extend warranty, your documentation says when it starts and what it covers. Generally it starts / is active once manufacturer's warranty ends.
A:AnswerThe Insignia™ 6.7 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer typically comes with options for both 3-prong and 4-prong power cords, but the cords are usually sold separately. If the checkout is showing a flat prong cord, it might be defaulting to the 4-prong option.
You can purchase a 3-prong cord separately if that’s what you need. Just make sure to select the correct cord type when adding it to your cart. If you’re unsure, you can always contact Best Buy customer service for assistance in selecting the right power cord for your dryer.
A:AnswerThe physical size of the dryer is 41 3/4 inches in height, 27 inches in width, and 30 inches in depth. Additionally, 49 14 inches depth when door is opened. -Ed | Insignia Support | https://www.bestbuy.com/site/brands/best-buy-brands/pcmcat1596746025285.c?id=pcmcat1596746025285
A:AnswerElectric cord and vent kit are sold separately and are not included. -Ed | Insignia Support | https://www.bestbuy.com/site/brands/best-buy-brands/pcmcat1596746025285.c?id=pcmcat1596746025285
A:AnswerNo. You have to be wired for 220 and have access to dryer venting. Your regular household current is 110. This is either a 3 or 4 pronged 220 (usually 3-pronged, but the deliverymen will bring out hookups for both).
Actually Single Phase Service today in homes is 120 & 240, while some are rated at 125 & 250. That's a little confusing to some homeowners, so electricians just let it slide when customers refer to their 110 & 220. No need causing more confusion...lol

A:AnswerIt's easier and probably cheaper to just switch the wire. There is a very easy to read diagram on the back of the machine for 3 wire and 4 wire plugs.

A:AnswerVentless? Definately not. The 4" round exhaust on the backside of the dryer is the output to be connected to a 4" vent. Do not obstruct the vent, it must flow properly

A:AnswerIt isn't the kind of knob that moves itself like the older models, when you set it on 40 minutes, it auto shuts off, if you set it on 20 min's it runs for twenty minutes and shuts itself off, same with 40mins 60mins 80 mins, if you shut the machine off yourself and wait a few seconds it will unlock the door.
