It's easier and probably cheaper to just switch the wire. There is a very easy to read diagram on the back of the machine for 3 wire and 4 wire plugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.240V is 240V so yes an adapter should work. The only difference between a 3 and a 4 wire circuit should be a missing neutral. R/B should each carry 110V and G is ground
