• The Antenna by itself works fine for strong local signals, for weaker more distant stations you may want the amplifier.

• The antenna works without the amplifier but the channels found will probably be significantly less. Without the amplifier I received 25 channels while I received 154 with the amplifier.

• Don’t know the whole thing didn’t work for me got zero channels after scanning twice so I took it back
