Will this work with 2011 Apple Mac Book Pro ? null

Not sure whether or not this is compatible with macOS (and the images of the packaging are labeled "For Windows PCs"), but the comment above saying that this requires a "proprietary cable" is nonsense. This dongle has a standard USB Type A connector. The 2011 MBPs come with two USB 2.0 ports, so physically this should work just fine. Also, multiple other answers in this thread (including one from "Cesar G. - Insignia Support") states that this works fine with MacBook Pros.

No, you have tO buy their proprietary cable. That's why I don't own apple products.
