Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my other answer, I mentioned you can't use this as a tabletop dock, HOWEVER, that's if you want to charge it while you're playing. You ***CAN*** use this dock without plugging in the USB C adapter and just using the USB adapter. Check photos to see proof and what I'm talking about.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This depends. If you’re using a first-party Nintendo controller, you’ll need a USB hub adapter for the GameCube Controller Adapter as it requires two USB ports, whereas this dock only has one.

Please try again later.Looking at the Nintendo UK's "How to Use the GameCube Controller With Nintendo Switch" article, the official GC adapter requires two USB ports to work. Since this dock only has a single USB port in, the official GC adapter wouldn't work. If you have a 3rd party adapter that one uses a single USB port (no idea if they exist or are available) or a GC controller that has a USB connection, I could see it working... but I've never tried it.
