A:AnswerI would suggest around 10" to 12" on each side. It will also depend on who deep you are going in to the niche. If you do not anticipate going in to attach/remove cables often, you can have a lesser space on the sides. As for just getting it on the mount, you may not really need to go in deep on the sides, two persons can get it on the mount, with a little skill and care. It just snaps on and once you hear the clamps click, you are done, Do not forget to have the two cords hang down, reachable from the bottom of the tv, but just hidden behind. These are for pulling on when the tv is to be removed. What size tv you are hanging on it. I hung a 65" one.
A:AnswerThe Insignia™ Fixed TV Wall Mount for Most 40"-70" TVs is designed to be compatible with standard stud spacing, which is typically 16 inches on center. However, it does not explicitly mention compatibility with 24-inch stud spacing.
If your wall studs are 24 inches apart, you might need to use a mounting plate or additional support to ensure the mount is securely attached. Alternatively, you could consider a different mount that explicitly supports wider stud spacing.

A:Answerany of the holes you use are fine(oval shaped holes) , most walls have studs that are 16 inches, apart , the mount is long enough to cover the studs with the holes , if you dont know how to find the studs, just make a 1/4 size hole in drywall , use wall anchors those tend to support 100 pounds each . use 2 on left side and 2 on right and you should be good to go

A:AnswerThe latches that hold the TV to the mount have pull cords attached. You just pull down on the cords and the latch opens to allow you to remove the TV.
A:AnswerIt worked with mine, but it will depend on the shape of your TV. The mount holds the TV pretty close to the wall, so If the back of your TV is all the same depth, then it might not work. My TV has some recessed areas above where the wall mount attached.
A:AnswerUse the long screws without washer. I did that. I had problem for upper holes, screws were either too long or too short. I cut the spacer and fit the long screws . Lower ones, I used without washer and it worked.
