“How is the volume level? When it's pushed to maximum is it loud or barely a whisper? I just bought and returned an ASUS MeMoPad8 and Kindle 6" because I had to strain to listen to music, movies, and audio readings. That's not right. Can someone please tell me on a scale from 1-10 if the volume level is loud? ( I have a Hisense Sero 7 that's 3 years old and I can hear it a room away, but it's age and system is out of date.)”

Sound is acceptable. If you really want good sound, use a bluetooth speaker. You should be able to try it at BestBuy in the store. That is what I did.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You wont have tons of base but the clarity and volume are definitely there! As for movies, they are crisp but this tablet cannot run Netflix. There is a software issue that has been acknowledged on Insignia forums. They are working on it and claim it will be fixed in a few weeks. You may see that this tablet had a problem connecting to the update servers, this issue has been resolved and is not a problem. Hope this helps.
