Questioncompared to the new zenpadhow does this insignia tablet compare to the new zenpad s 7.85 tablet?

- Answer The Zenpad has a weaker GPU and CPU(Intel Atom) the Rockchip 3288 outpowers it in most applications. All the other specs are the same, except for the storage which is bigger on the Zenpad(32GB vs 16GB)

QuestionIs Netflix issue resolved now?From the reviews and Answers, I came to know that this tablet has issue(s) with running Netflix. Also, in the same reviews it has been mentioned by Insignia members that they have released an update and Netflix will work fine now. So, does any body know if that issue is really resolved now or not? And if I order this tablet (open box) then it will come with that updated fix or not?

- Answer After the update by Insignia, Netflix works just fine on mine, go to Settings- About Tablet and tap on Update, It should update to V01.00.10. This update fixes Netflix issue, battery drain, and the issue after update V01.00.09, notifying of update available popping up repeatedly, and a few other minor issues.

QuestionHow many rows on the keyboard?Does the keyboard have a separate row of keys for numbers, or is it like the 8 inch Insignia Elite on which you have to long-press the top row of letter keys to type a number?

- Answer This is the 8" Flex elite tablet and it has the standard Android keyboard that requires you to long press certain keys to get numbers. You can, however, go into the Google Play store and download a new keyboard to use that will better fit your needs.

- Answer It has quality Glass but all glass is scratchable so don't think it's plastic because it comes with a screen protector that just a plus.

QuestionHow is the volume level? When it's pushed to maximum is it loud or barely a whisper?I just bought and returned an ASUS MeMoPad8 and Kindle 6" because I had to strain to listen to music, movies, and audio readings. That's not right. Can someone please tell me on a scale from 1-10 if the volume level is loud? ( I have a Hisense Sero 7 that's 3 years old and I can hear it a room away, but it's age and system is out of date.)

- Answer Sound is acceptable. If you really want good sound, use a bluetooth speaker. You should be able to try it at BestBuy in the store. That is what I did.

- Answer This tablet is not capable of MHL so no adapter will allow you to connect the tablet to the TV through the USB port.

- Answer I am sure it is possible, but not likely to happen. It probably will remain Android 5.0.X for the duration of its life. For what this tablet is best at, this will not matter.

- Answer If the speaker stuttering is happening with all audio sources, I would recommend taking the tablet and receipt into Best Buy, to the Geek Squad counter, for warranty evaluation.

QuestionProblem accessing files on SD CardHas anyone else had problems accessing files on the."external" SD Card? If i try to open a PDF or text file, i get an error saying the file is not available. If i try to look at a jpeg or png image on the SD Card , it works ok. If, using Explorer, i copy a folder with several PDF files to the internal storage, the files work fine. I installed a couple other file manahers through Google Play, neither of which see the card. The card is a 32gb Transcend SDHC card. If i take the card out and try it in another device or a PC, everything is ok unfil i move it back to the Flex Elite.

- Answer Jake, it is a case of "Can't get there from here". The problem affects ALL files on the MicroSD card except jpg and png images. The problem affects PDFs, Epub, text, and other files. I installed Total Commander and AndroExplorer file managers. They do not see the card. If I move the filex, using the pre-installed Explorer app, the files will open with any app that I try. If i move the files back to the card, they again become inaccessible. I have tried swapping cards with my Insignia Flex 8 tablet. The card works fine in the Flex 8 allowing access to all files on the card. The problem is not the files on the card or the apps being used. This is a firmware problem that should be fixable with an update. I will repeat, the card and the files on the card work OK in an older tablet from the same manufacturer.

- Answer The 7.85" Insignia Flex Elite tablet initially did not work with the Phantom 3 Standard but DJI has updated there application and it now works.
