i havent used my dash cam in about 3 weeks (was getting new car). now when i plug it into my usb connector in the car or my laptop with windows 10, it turns on for about 3 seconds and then goes to a screen that shows a blue usb connector. i never recovers null

Not sure what you are wanting to do. But the Camera has a feature that shut off the screen after some time. But continues to record. To access footage you'll need to the card on the side of the unit. Hope this helped. God bless

If you are using a different usb charging method like a computer, you may have that happen. I simply use a usb connection to a power bank and it works fine.
