If you are trying to get audio from your TV into your AV receiver, this device won't do that. From the specs of the TCL 4 Series, it looks like the only ways to get audio from the TV into an AV receiver is through the digital optical audio output or the headphone jack. If your receiver has a digital optical input, that would be the best way to do it. Otherwise, the headphone jack would work. In either case, you will need the appropriate cable.
