Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should work. I used this converter to connect my Karaoke machine with RCA plugs to my new Samsung 4K Ultra HD TV which only has HDMI inputs. I first bought the Insignia HDMI to RCA converter and was really frustrated that I couldn’t get the TV to work with the Karaoke machine and was ready to give up and just use my old TV and bring it downstairs when we wanted to do Karaoke at our get together, but I decided that something has to be wrong because my Karaoke manual said it could be used with a Smart TV and I knew I was plugging everything into the right places so I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. I decided to check the Best Buy website again and look at the converters and that’s when I realized I had gotten the wrong converter and I needed the RCA to HDMI Converter, it worked and everything is working fine. Happy again!! Having the right converter solved the problem. I hope this helps.
