“Can this device be run off of 6V instead of the 5V supply included? Want to put in inline in a car to get RCA out from DVD deck to HDMI in on a second display in the back. Trying to avoid eating up a USB port and instead use the built in 6V in the dash.”

• As long as you can soldier wires and don’t go over the voltage or amperage And test with a multimeter prior.
