• This converter ONLY converts "Composite Signals" (Video & Audio) to HDMI output. If you are asking to run a cable from a device that has a "Composite Signal" output to a TV with an HDMI input connection, then YES. I am using this converter to convert my old VCR output to my TV HDMI input, allowing me to watch our old VHS tapes.
