“I have an older DVD/VCR combination unit. I can get the DVD part to work with audio but video is in B&W. Can't get VCR to come in but the tape is running. There are 2 sets of wires - red/white audio and green/blue/red for video/audio.”

Should be using red white and yellow. The green/blue is for different system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to connect to the Yellow, White, and Red ports only. If you connect to the Green, Blue, Red you won’t get the correct image. All 3 of those are used for video and audio is separate and still use the Red/White connector. Depending on the age of the TV sometimes the “Yellow” port is shared with the “Green” port. If this is true you will see the port colored half Green and half Yellow.
