“I have a new Samsung TV. I bought the RCA to HDMI Converter. I get the audio, but no video. I only use the audio cables and no video cable to the converter because it worked well that way on my old Sony TV. Do I need a video cable to the converter?”

I was able to connect my 5 player DVD, connecting the red, yellow and white wires to the HDMI converter and then using a HDMI cable from the converter to my Samsung TV HDMI port #2. Works fine.
