“How long is the extender line? I want to use this for a tv mounted over a brick fireplace and would need to route the line to a cable box and other components in a built-in cabinet on the side. I need the length to be at least 9 feet. Would this kit work?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should only need to worry about the distance between the power outlet and the cable box, stereo, etc. that are within the cabinet. Your TV wouldn't enter into the setup since it is out in the open and can 'see' the remote already. You would mount the eye from this kit somewhere inconspicuous on the exterior of the cabinet and then tape the repeaters to the various equipment in the interior of the cabinet.
