• This kit should work up to 16 feet away, but environmental factors and the remote control will also affect the infrared receiving distance. Aim the remote control at the remote control receiver.

• My bed is at least 8ft away from my TV on the wall. No problems at all picking up the harmony remote or the TV remote.
