• It will, but you will obviously need room to attach the "wand" to the IR sensor on your TV. The main IR receiver of this product has nice width and range and I happily endorse it with proper installation.

• should work fine if you can use USB on TV to power the extender. Otherwise the cords may be too short to route as you want to. Should be able to hide all wires behind TV or soundbar.
