“Will this extender work if I point my remote at it through Low-e windows that have some tint, or will that block the infrared signal? My NS-STR514 receiver is inside a room next to a pool. Wondering if I can control my receiver from poolside. Thanks.”

• The Remote control receiver (IR) shouldn't be blocked.
