nope. I can't see thru mine. all the shelves are glass too. I can't see thru them either.

I have a Cox Contour box and an Xbox on the top shelf and you are not able to see the light through the top. And, just to test it further for you, I enabled the flashlight on my phone (which is VERY bright) and put it under the glass and pointed it upwards and was unable to see any light through the top of the glass.
