“write function is it possibly to write as well? or is it read only? is there anyway I can use this product to write onto the micro sd? perhaps via some software program? please let me know if its even possible”

I just tested it by copying a picture from my desk-top computer - yes it is possible to write to the card.

When you plug this reader into your computer with a card inserted, it will show up as a new drive on your computer. Move files to and from this device the same way you would move files from one folder to another.
