“I need to transfer my pics from sdhc card in my Canon camera to my chromebook but the book only takes micro cards. Will this work or what will? Thanks”

The Insignia USB memory card reader can read regular and micro SD cards. To read s micro SD card, insert it with the metal tabs on the card facing up. with a regular SD card insert it with the metal tabs on the card facing down. I have had no problem with the unit since I bought it, and I have used it with both regular SD and micro SD cards.

Yes, it will. The USB slips into your USB port and you insert your SD chip into the side of this adapter. Worked great for me.

If your chrome book has a USB port, then you should be able to insert the SDHC card in the insignia card reader. Then insert the insignia card reader into the USB port. You should now be able to transfer pic. Hope this helps.
