• Your PC only needs one to connect to ethernet not sure why you would need two of them connected to the same PC.

• Yes. But only one will be active unless this is a server. Normal Win 10 home has just one active connection. Windows server allows 4 active connections by the motherboard design. You sometimes see both active but actually only one receives message.
