“I have four of these plugs and they worked great on my old linksys dual band router. However I moved homes and upgraded to linksys velop and now I keep getting registration call failed. I have factory reset each plug many times. Any ideas?”

• Return them. Pay $5 more for Wemo. THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE.

• be sure your new router has the 2.4 GHz wireless network enabled. These won’t work on the 5 GHz network.
