You can use a air cooler or a AIO. I am using a Corsair H100i pro, having no heat issues at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You'll need a heatsink that's compatible with the 1155 socket. Bigger is better, assuming you have the space in your case to facilitate it. A Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is an excellent cooler for the price if you want air cooling. Otherwise, just about any AIO liquid cooler would be fine, too. This is all assuming you don't plan on overclocking. If you do plan on overclocking, get the best cooler you can afford.
