“With all its bouncing around and rerouting itself, does it miss areas and leave some surfaces uncleaned?”

Have not had any issues with uncleaned areas when rerouting. Cleans very well. Only issue is it gets caught on the edge of my throw rug sometimes and when it goes behind my recliner/couch/love seat it tries to go under them to clean but gets caught as they are not high enough to access underneath. Other than that, I am very well pleased with it and highly recommend to everyone. Cleans better than any vacuum I have ever owned. I never truly believed the reviews I read before but now that I own one I would not trade it. I have been using it for approximately 2 months. My husband has asthma and he said he breathes better because it cleans so well.

It the,n over the cycle, covers the same section of floor from two directions. the only surfaces I have found that it leaves is a very thick shag rug that I have by my sofa. Otherwise I have been very pleasently surprised by its coverage.

If it gets "redirected" because wheeled furniture or baskets or electric cord near electric outlets, it will confuse the mapping, but not really noticeably.. For those things, I sometimes rearrange those items and start a 2nd pass.
