“Do these vacuum cleaners work in rooms with vaulted ceilings?”

• Maybe I'm missing something but ceilings shouldn't affect the floors being vacuumed. It should work with 7-8-9 custom ceilings. Flooring is where the unit will be

• Yes, no worries with vaulted ceilings. The Roomba does not use GPS technology, it maps rooms using more of a bump into things mapping. I had an old Mint floor sweeper that used Northstar GPS and it struggled with vaulted ceilings. My Roomba 860 works great in my main open living/dining/kitchen area, with vaulted ceiling, as well as in the bedrooms without vaulted ceilings.

• The Samsung maps the ceiling and does not do well with vaulted ceilings. Mine is always turning into the wall trying to run diagonally in a square room.

• Yes ! There are little boxes you put where you do not want it to go. Like we put one going into the bathroom, as they can get stuck under the sink or behind the tube or toilet.
