It will work on brick for looser items. It may have trouble getting dirt in the grooves between bricks. The bottom "brush" is really just a rubber cylinder with fans to catch loose items.

It depends mostly on the depth between the bricks. Mine handles the tile and hardwood transition pieces fairly easily, so I imagine brick won't be much more difficult.
