Shark AI Robot Vacuum RV2001 truly adapts to your home, so you don’t have to clean before your robot cleans. IQ Navigation is even smarter with AI Laser Vision, helping your robot avoid objects and respond to no-go zones as it cleans row by row.
Q: Can this map multiple floors (i.e. 2 story house)?
A: You have to do this kludge, to use the Shark robot to vacuum multiple floors: 1. Use the application on only one of the floors. That means that use of scheduling, in-app no-go zones, named room limited cleaning, and voice commands are only possible on that ONE floor you use the app on.; and 2. For the other floors: after the robot returns to the docking station (on the floor to use the app on), turn off the robot then carry it to another floor. Then, set it on the floor, and turn the robot power switch back on. NOW, click the on-robot button that says ’clean’ (NOT using the app!!!!). This will start the robot, and it will clean. Remember to use the keep our magnetic strips because there’s no app you can define keep out zones in, on this floor.
Q: How do I move my shark’s home base without having to delete the map and start from scratch?
A: We would like to let you know that moving the base by a few inches wouldn't change anything. however if you are wanting to move the base from one wall to another wall or one room to another room you would need to remap your home.
Q: Does it need a wifi network for initial setup or for operation also
A: We would like to inform you that you can still use this Robot without Wi-Fi, however you would not be able to use the app or any features of the unit that would require Wi-Fi.
Q: What Roomba does the Shark Al Robot RV2001 compare to?
A: Love the Shark. It will clean a 1980 sqft home on one charge. It doesn't make the crazy pattern the iRooma does. Really strong suction, even with 3 cats.
Q: will the robot go from room to room if there is a threshold in between? it is probably 1/4 inch high
A: We would like to let you know that the robot can easily climb over obstacles and thresholds up to 3/4". If there are areas that your robot cannot reach, you may have to lift it over the threshold or move the dock to another room.
Q: Does it have a sensor so it doesn't fall down the stairs? Or do I have to use boundary strips??
A: We are happy to inform you that the robot is designed with Smart Sensor Navigation that prevents it from falling down stairs. The robot will sense the stairs and change direction to avoid any drops or falls.
Q: Can you buy the self empty bin for this shark AI robot VAC?
A: We would like to let you know that this unit is not compatible with the base for our self emptying units.
