• the problem turned out to be in the inlet on the Blujax that was broken not the cord that plugs into it. Which broke after 4 uses. I can't recommend this product.

• No. The iPhone Lightning cable does not work with most devices unless they are Apple products. You will need a new "micro usb cable". They are easy to find and usually reasonably priced.
